Airman & Family Readiness Program

Your Hancock Field Airman & Family Readiness Program provides
 individuals, families and leadership with programs and services
that strengthen our community and promote self-sufficiency,
mission readiness and adaption to the Air National Guard way of life.
The program serves singles, couples and families alike. Services
are provided to military members of all branches of service.

tabGoals and Objectives 
Family Readiness

o Prepares the entire family for separation through planning.
o Provides Pre-deployment, Deployment and Reintegration briefings through the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program.
o Assists with family difficulties that occur during deployments.
o Manages communication with families during deployments.

 Information, Referral and Crisis Assistance

o Provides telephonic and in-person assessments to help determine your needs. An extensive list of available resources and services is maintained in order to direct you to the appropriate resource.
o Provides support to members and their families during local or national emergency/disasters and evacuations.
o Provides an information and reference center for family and military members.

Family Life Skills
o Provide education and training to military members and their families in an atmosphere which fosters confidence and enhances unit readiness in order for them to be optimally prepared for all facets of military life.
o Disseminates information via website, emails and mailings.
o Make families aware of the privileges, benefits and entitlements that are available to them during both peacetime and mobilization.

Volunteer Opportunities

o Looking for an interesting and rewarding experience? Become a volunteer! Volunteers provide invaluable support to the base community. Opportunities range from office work to planning and assisting with base events to working with our youth.
